QIs Jicho IQ a CCTV company?

No. We work with your existing CCTV. Jicho IQ is the intelligence layer, not the recorder.

QDoes Jicho IQ replace our NVR or DVR?

No. We connect to approved streams from your existing NVR/DVR through standard interfaces.

QCan it use our existing cameras?

In most cases, yes — via RTSP/ONVIF. We recommend a compatibility review to confirm.

QDoes it use facial recognition?

No.

QDoes it identify employees?

No. We do not identify individuals from faces.

QCan it detect theft?

We surface operational exceptions with cautious labels for human review. We do not accuse people automatically.

QCan it connect to Odoo?

Yes, read-only first. We reconcile Odoo records with observed activity.

QCan it work with other POS systems?

Yes. Additional integrations arrive in the roadmap as pilots validate them.

QWhat happens when the internet is unavailable?

The edge device continues to process and preserve events locally, syncing when connectivity returns.

QWhere is video processed?

On an approved edge device, on-site, wherever practical.

QWho owns the data?

You do.

QCan Jicho IQ use our footage for model training?

Only with explicit written permission.

QHow long is evidence retained?

Retention is short, agreed and configurable per deployment.

QCan it work across several businesses?

Yes. Multi-business and multi-site structure is part of the foundation.

QIs there a mobile app?

A companion app is in development, invitation-only during pilots.
